WHO WE ARE
Owned by Eric Thompson and his wife Leyna, Pacific Coast Kitchens is a smaller scale kitchen manufacturer and cabinetmaker based in the seaside town of Omokoroa in the Bay of Plenty.
Eric and Leyna purchased the business in 2016 from the founding owners after 5 years as production manager at one of the region’s largest kitchen companies.
Coming from a high stress, high pressure environment, running a more intimate kitchen business that’s less production line and more responsive to customers wishes suited Eric just fine.
For Eric and his hand selected team at Pacific Coast Kitchens every kitchen counts, and every customer needs to be listened to. Nothing’s a hassle, nothing’s too much trouble - what’s important to Eric is that their customers get exactly what they want. No two jobs are ever the same and that’s exactly why the guys love what they do.

Meet our qualified team. At Pacific Coast Kitchens we have a cabinetmaker for every job, whether it’s a shelf or a kitchen fit for a chef. The team at PCK have you covered right through from design to installation.
Andrew
Andrew
He’s an Omokoroa local and one of our trade qualified cabinetmakers. There’s not much Andrew can’t do, from a set of stairs for a tiny house to a high end kitchen, he’s the man.
Matt
Matt
Matt came to PCK straight out of Katikati College a couple of years ago and now runs our CNC machine while in the factory and is Jayde’s assistant on site. Matt helps to keep the factory and worksites clean and tidy for the tradesmen while still learning the trade.

Jayde
Jayde is a trade qualified cabinetmaker and is our in-house installer. He spends most of his days in client’s homes adding the final touches to our projects. Jayde might be the giant of the team but really he’s a big teddy bear and nothings ever a problem.

Kevin
Kevin has recently relocated to the Bay and has joined us from his own Joinery Company in Auckland and believes a high standard of work is important to any business.
Megan
Megan
Megan is our inhouse designer with a background in graphic design. She is here to help you mould your ideas into reality.
Grant
Grant
Known as Goona to his friends Grant joined PCK after nearly a decade in the industry working on everything from office fitouts to kitchen cabinetry. Along with our other cabinetmakers Grant takes his jobs from machining to installation and always takes pride in what he does.
Richie
Richie
Richie is the newest member of the team at PCK. After a few years out of the industry Richie now supports the other cabinetmakers in machining, assembly and installation here at PCK. Outside work he’s apparently a pretty handy guitar player and he’s got an Instagram following to be envious of.
