Design and Quoting

Getting started on your new kitchen or custom cabinetry project should be straightforward. Whether you already have plans and simply need an initial estimate, or you are looking for in-depth spatial planning with photo-realistic 3D renders, we have structured our design pathways to give you total clarity from day one.

Clear paths for every stage—get a quick free price guide, or invest in full 3D planning (Our design fees are credited towards your job when you go ahead). Get in touch and speak with one of our designers today.

Manufacture and Installation

YOUR CABINETRY BUILD
This is where we are a bit different to the big guys.
All cabinetry is made in our Omokoroa factory and completely set up as if it were in your house. This means you are able to come and see it coming together and choose things like handles at the last minute. All painted jobs are set up before they go to the paint shop and we like clients to come for an inspection at this stage. If you are happy to leave it in our hands that is also fine with us.
Once your cabinetry is completed, checked and ready for install we will invoice the second progress payment.

INSTALLATION PROCESS
If we are removing your existing kitchen:
You will need to allow a day for us to remove the old cabinetry and patch up any walls with new gib board. If more work is required like chipping up tiles or removing walls etc this process can take a week or longer.
We can manage other trades needed with the removal and installation of new cabinetry, such as the plumber and electrician which we offer free of charge but may require some of your involvement once things get going. If you want the whole process managed entirely by us we can quote for this.

For new builds:
We usually install cabinetry after the painter has finished, and can either be before or after the flooring has gone down. We understand floating floors are popular and are happy to return to fit toe kicks after the flooring has been laid.

INSTALLATION DAY
We generally arrive on site between 7:30-8am. It is best if you can leave our installers to their work as an install may look finished but it pays to wait till the end to ask any questions regarding the finer details.
Your contact person at PCK once we are on site is Eric, but feel free to call your designer as well

COMPLETION
Often jobs have things like stone tops or floating floors that are done after our initial installation so generally we will be back to site at least a couple times after an install and can adjust doors or address any questions you may have then.
Once you are totally happy with your completed joinery we will send the final invoice.

AFTER CARE

All our cabinetry is backed by a 5-year Master Joiners quality guarantee, lifetime warranties on hardware & manufacturers' warranties on your benchtops, so if you ever have an issue in the future, give us a call and we will sort it out.
